Our 34th (8/20 – 8/21, 2027) Ladies Retreat at Silver Heights will be held in the newly finished 2 story building in which everyone sleeps and there will be nice areas for meeting in the same building and there will be an elevator. Ladies, put this date on your calendar!! We had a larger number this year than in the past few years and if the Lord tarries, we hope to enlarge the number again in 2027.
Senior Citizens Week at Woodland Bible Camp seemed to have a smaller number than in previous years. The Bible lessons on ‘The 7 Churches of Revelation’ were well delivered by the speakers. The ladies Prayer & Praise group, as well as the men’s, were good studies, and as usual, Crossword puzzle solving, fellowshipping, and singing were enjoyed by all. The ladies in the kitchen once again put good eats on the table. One Zip Line participant (Buford Smith), who is in his 90s, was challenged, and after several checks on his harness (including by Dr. David), came sliding down the line. If you do not take advantage of this time of Christian FUN (you are not required to use the Zip Line), Bible teaching, and Fellowship, you don’t know what you are missing. You don’t really have to be old to join us.
Fifth Sunday Singing was held at Cherry St. Church of Christ in the afternoon. A good crowd enjoyed the singing and the fellowship afterward.

It is located in a residential area on Lake Road in Henryville, IN and is ready for any group to use it since it is in good condition. Southeast Christian Education Corporation: SCEC grants financial help to young people attending one of the Christian colleges that are listed on their website.
As a non- profit private foundation. SCEC also supports the mission work in the Philippines through a $2,600 annual gift to Church of Christ Worldwide. SCEC Website recently updated: sceconline.org.
