How many times have we heard, thought, or possibly uttered with a disapproving look: “Look at those clothes?!”; “They live in [name the town or neighborhood]!”; “You know what family they’re from?!”. Or possibly some other statement insinuating a relationship with Him is less than it should be based on dress, address, family name, gender, race, ethnicity, etc.  As believers, shouldn’t we be less judgmental and more kind and loving to everyone?

I’m not suggesting we compromise the gospel in any manner.  Simply suggesting we share it as He did – with grace, truth, and love!  Yes, He pointed out flaws to some of those around Him.  However, keep in mind, he was always right – he knew their heart!  If we are to point out any flaws let’s be sure we know their heart (and our own – what’s our motive)!  Once we enter the pearly gates, we may be a bit surprised at who we see there.  Keep in mind, with our flaws, they’ll be those there that are a bit surprised to see us as well!  Let’s live to please Him – extending the gospel, the truth, in love to all we encounter.  Be blessed!
