Dear Brothers and Sisters.
Thanks so much for your prayers.
I am on a Delta plane returning to Atlanta after four weeks traveling.
This trip to Zimbabwe was a blessing. I was able to reconnect with many of our fellowship that I had not seen in three years. Worshipping together in Zimbabwe churches is always a rich blessing.
Larry Miles is still in Zimbabwe for a few more days, and should be back in the USA by Thanksgiving .
Larry and I both spoke at several churches of Christ both for Bible studies and Sunday services. The fellowship was a blessing. We enjoyed the Church of Christ sponsored Prison Ministry which gave testimonies and singing at the Hatfield church of Christ.
Both Larry and I branched out more than we did three years ago. Larry was invited to speak at a Wednesday evening service at a Pentecostal church in Victoria Falls.
For me my main focus was the seminar that I started to develop in 2018 when working with David McQueen. I call it, “The Renewal of the Knowledge of the Logos Creator”. This seminar clarifies that God’s thoughts are higher than man’s thoughts as the heavens are higher than the earth. I incorporated some videos from the Institute for Creation Research as well as my intelligent design research.
Isaiah Mawubire organized the venues and provided transportation and worship leading. Thanks also to Godfrey Justice who provided interpretation for the fourth and final event held in Gweru.
Four different venues hosted this seminar. On November 1, the national youth of churches of Christ hosted the five hours of teaching on the Logos and intelligent design. Three other non-denominational groups also hosted us.
A total of at least 186 persons signed the attendance sheets at these seminars.
We had a great time. God is being glorified. The final seminar held in the Academy of Music in Gweru was hosted by a Prison Ministries fellowship. 75 pastors and chaplains signed the attendance sheet in Gweru. That group was very enthusiastic and seemed to enjoy the five hours of teaching.
Thanks also to those who prepared the lunch and tea breaks. Thanks to Isaiah Mawubire who was the main organizer of these seminars.
Thanks again for your prayers.
Also thanks to those who recently gave to help the Belmont Zimbabwe Education and Relief Fund. Those funds will be used for the several purposes we mentioned. Some persons had help with school fees others were fed, some persons working on preparing a site to build a clinic were recently compensated for their time. A wall is being built for a church in Kadoma. A brother was given assistance toward work being done on his house. Freely you have received, freely give.
Peace be with you in Christ.
Dale Garrett
P.S. Some one asked if funds could still be sent to the Belmont Zimbabwe fund.
If you will make a commitment to assist us, email Dale Garrett at garre399@gmaill.com .
You can make a check payable to the Belmont Zimbabwe Fund.
