INTRODUCTION: God calls us to grow in our walks with Christ in order to strengthen our faith and find fulfillment in Him. Walking with God is one of the “pictures” of a Christian in the New Testament. It is used also in the Old Testament of those who were seeking to follow God and live for Him. Examples of this are found in Gen. 5:22; 6:9; 48:15). We find further instances of “walking with the Lord” in passages such as Deut. 30:16, Psalm 1:1, and Psalm 119:1. In the New Testament it describes “walking” as a life of faith (2 Cor. 5:7).
