From Horse Cave: “Brother G. C. Brewer, of Sherman, Texas, was with us here in a tent meeting which continued 12 days. We were very much pleased with the work of Brother Brewer, as well as with the results. Fine crowds each night and many heard for the first time the plea for undenominational Christianity. Ten persons were baptized. Brethren from Glasgow, Uno. Tompkinsville, Cave City, and other points attended the services. Preaching brethren present were Brother Friend, Brother Creacy (who lives here), Brother Warren Dunagan, Brother Boll, Brother Isenberg, and Brother Jos. S. Warlick. Brother J.V.A. Taylor led the singing the first week and Brother Elam Derryberry the second week.” –H. L. Olmstead.
From Lubbock, Texas: “I am now back with the church here, after being away ten weeks. Had good meetings in Tennessee and at Roscoe, Texas. The additions to the three corrugations where I held my meetings totaled 101. We are glad to be back in the work here. We are looking for quite a few newcomers to our city in the next week, as the Texas Technological College opens here next week.” R. R. Brooks.

From Itasca, Texas: “I am to be in Missouri for three meetings about the middle of the month and might arrange for a meeting or two a little further east. Just closed an eleven-day meeting at Mertens, Texas, with 6 added by primary obedience.” -R. A. Zahn.

From Bathurst Street, Toronto: “We had a great prayer meeting last night. The brethren received us warmly. WE had a fine meeting at Hopkins, Mo., before coming here. A father and two sons were baptized.” -Earl C. Smith.
From Chas. M. Neal: “I am changing work from Dugger to Winchester, Ky. Please make note of my change in next issue. My new address will be 26 S. Maple St., Winchester, Ky.
-From Sellersburg, Ind.: “The meeting here conducted by Brother M. L. Moore of Bowling Green, Ky., was a great success. It started August 30 and closed September 10 with 10 baptisms and 2 confessions of wrong. Brother Moore is truly one of the Lord’s noblemen. I feel that he was a great blessing to the church in Sellersburg for he led us into the presence of the Lord and left us there. I pray God to continue to use him yet many more years to tell wanderers of the Christ.
“I am now in a meeting at Bethsaida near Coal City, Ind. We started Sunday September 13 with a basket dinner and 3 sermons and baptized 4 that Sunday night. This is Thursday and we have had 8 confessions to date. Interest is good. Pray for this meeting. I go from here to my home congregation in Kentucky near Glasgow Junction, beginning Sept. 27.” -J. Later from Brother Greer: “The Bethsaida meeting will close tonight. Eighteen have come forward, 12 for baptism, 4 to take membership, and 2 to confess wrong. One lady more than 70 years of age was baptized night before last. Pray for the brethren here. I believe that they have a great future before them.”
From Chattanooga: “On Sept. 6, Central Church, Chattanooga, had some extra attendance since it was the first Anniversary of our entrance into the new church house. During the year about 65 people have identified themselves with the church, and many others came with us during the time but were not formally identified. Our offerings have averaged over $500 per month. Yet we feel we have not done our fully duty.
“I closed a meeting Sunday night with the church at Cleveland, Tenn. Brother Geo. Farmer, their minister, has done fine work there and in that part of East Tennessee. There were 9 baptisms and 2 restorations. Interest and attendance fine.
“Word and Work is a good magazine. The Lord bless and multiply its usefulness.” -E. H. Hoover.

J. R. Clark takes up the work with the Dugger, Ind., congregation, since Brother Neal has gone to Winchester, Ky.
A September news-note failed to attach. Brother L. E. Carpenter’s name to the remarkable report of the Willington, Texas, meeting to which there were 68 additions.
Brothers Boll and Jorgenson are at Berea, near Sullivan, Ind., in a meeting.
The meeting at Waterford, Ky., where Brother Friend was the preacher resulted in 20 additions. He is now preaching for the new Ormsby Ave. Mission of the Highland Church, Louisville.
“God blessed or labors at Scribner’s Mill, Mooresville and Campbellsville with 55 conversions altogether. The missionary spirit was aroused at each place, and regular days were designated for monthly contributions for foreign missions.” -H. N. Rutherford.
