2020 Ladies Retreat – 30^TH YEAR

   The Ladies Retreat this year on September 26^th at Sellersburg Church of Christ HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE COVID VIRUS.  The committee met and after prayer and discussion, it was decided this is the prudent thing to do at this time.  This would have been the 30^th year for the Ladies Retreat and we hope and pray that we can continue in September of 2021 with the 30^th Year one day event. 

73^rd Kentucky-Indiana Christian Fellowship Week Cancelled

     Because of the Covid-19 Virus that is still affecting the lives of all of us at the present time.  The 73^rd Kentucky-Indiana Christian Fellowship Week was CANCELLED.  The committee met on June 8^th and after much prayer and discussion the decision was made to cancel the Fellowship week this year.  It is possible that the same program that was planned for 2020 may be used in 2021 for the Fellowship Week. 

 

The Sunday Afternoon Singing  (normally in June)

      The Sunday Afternoon Singing in Allensville, KY, at the Church of Christ has been rescheduled to October 11^th.    We are hoping that the Covid-19 requirements will be over by then and we can gather to worship the Lord with song.

 

WOODLAND BIBLE CAMP 2020

The camp is following the guidelines for the Covid-19 pandemic

    The combined Senior/Intermediate week of camp was held July 5-11 (Fri. to Sun.)

Word has it that there were around 25 students and a good many adults in attendance.    The kitchen crew worked hard and long to follow the rules set out due to Covid.  Everyone seemed to enjoy the week in spite of the restrictions that were imposed.

     The Portland Christian School Cross Country Team is at Woodland from July 31^st to August 2^nd.

     Woodland Family Weekend is planned for August 21-23 (Fri. 6 pm to Sun. 1 pm)

     September Fall retreat will be held Sept. 11 – 13 (Fri. 6pm to Sun. 1 pm. 

               Ages: Grades 8 – 12 and First two year of College age/20

     Senior Citizens Week is planned for Sept. 14 – 18 (Monday 1 pm to Friday noon)

             The Theme for this Year is “Between Heaven and Earth”.
