Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.  Ephesians 4:15 (NIV) The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:5 (NIV)

It seems with each passing year, month, perhaps even day, the world grows a bit dimmer. Turmoil, strife, division, rage, and hate within the world, our country, and even our families lessen the light and deepen the darkness.

With good intentions, at times we curse the darkness and cast blame on this group or that group – often with truth (or ‘our’ truth) but all too seldom with love. Now, possibly more than ever, we need to speak His truth with love! We need to reflect His light instead of curse the darkness.

Let’s be involved in our community, help our neighbors, take care of our families – selflessly love others! Let’s allow Him to live through us! May we each be transforming daily to His likeness. Be blessed!
