PARKSVILLE REVIVAL & HOMECOMING (Kentucky) was held September 22 – 25, 2019 with Bro. Joe Stone preaching.  Interest was high in hearing the Word of God.  Dr. Thomas Jackson, long time member, brought a special song at the Homecoming Service. Sunday night, Joe spoke on “Remembering” taken from the book of Deuteronomy.  Remember the covenant, former slavery, what the Lord did in Egypt, the Commandments, how the Lord provoked you, cleanliness, and the “days of old.”   How refreshing in hearing the Word of God.   A special feature in song was presented by several ladies during the worship service.   A great time of fellowship was had by all.

WOODLAND BIBLE CAMP – Sr. Citizens Week is now history.   Approximately 65 campers participated in this year’s Sr. Citizens Week.    This year’s theme, planned by a committee of eight, “The Design of the Designer: Fearfully and Wonderfully Made” was a special blessing to each in attendance.   Chapel & night speakers included: Ray Naugle, Julius Hovan, Jerry Carmichael, Nathan Grimes, Dick Lewis, David Ford, Howard Loveland, Dale Garrett, Graham McKay, David Johnson, Bennie Hill, and Larry Miles.   All were greatly challenged by the Lord to consider our wonderful Creator.   Morning devotions were conducted by several available men, and several women led in the Prayer & Share time.

FRIENDS OF WOODLAND BIBLE CAMP, the Dining Hall is in dire need of a roof repair or possibly total replacement. The board hopes to replace all the bad parts underneath and re-use the steel roof, if possible. There are two major leaks. If the current metal cannot be reused, they’re looking around $4,000-5,000.   Many reading this love Woodland and will want to help with this need.  Make checks out to Woodland Bible Camp and mail to:

Brock Borders–8642 N. 650, Worthington, IN. 47471.

Please note on your check that it is for Dining Hall roof.

When word went out last year regarding the need to replace the tabernacle, the money arrived with enough to do more than what had been planned.  There was volunteer labor on that project that was a very real blessing.  Please open your pocketbooks to fund another much needed effort.  The Dining Hall building not only houses the eating area, but also the kitchen, a freezer, a walk-in cooler, a large pantry storage, a handicap accessible bathroom, the laundry room and is the place where all meals and various other events happen.

Pretty much everything in the building will need to be moved out for this job.  It really needs to be done this fall. God willing, we can get it paid for prior to the work being done. This camp has been a blessing to thousands of campers and hundreds of campers have become Christians there through the years since 1954.
