TIM LaHAYE.   “It is certain!    Did you know the Bible contains almost three times as many promises of Jesus’ second coming as of his first coming?  Scripture boasts 129 prophecies regarding Jesus’ first coming, but 329 predictions regarding His second coming.  Since His first coming occurred just as prophesied, we can anticipate that the second coming is three times as certain as His first.”

NEWS FROM ROBERT GARRETT (8/25/2019  I want to thank all the good folks who lifted me up to the Throne Of Grace during the past few weeks.  Our Lord has answered and blessed in a wonderful way.  I had suffered from mild hip pain for the past two years. Then in July it suddenly got extremely worse and my Doctor put me in the hospital and arranged for a surgeon to operate.  The problem was with the L4 and L5 vertebrae. The Surgeon, Dr. Werner of Baptist East Hospital, operated and put in two steel plates and screws.  I have been completely pain free since the operation. After the hospital I spent two weeks in rehab where they put me through various exercises to regain strength in my legs.

I am now back home and thankful to our Lord  for His blessings and for your prayers.

This month, August 22, Joy and I will have been married 66 years.

God has blessed beyond measure. He gave us 6 children, 25 grandchildren, and 15 going on 16 Great Grand children. and a wonderful church family here in the USA and in Zimbabwe.  Lord willing, I hope to make a 3 month trip to Zimbabwe next March.

JULY 2019 UPDATE- OBEYING THE GREAT COMMISSION

“Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. Psalm 96:2-3

Before Central Bible Seminary begins the Academic Year 2019-2020 this month of August 2019, I had the opportunity to join the mission Team of the Bible League in training church planters and giving bibles in the different parts of the Philippines. At least 100 church pastors and workers attended in every training. In obedience to the Great Commision of our Lord to make disciples, we reached the Southern part of the Philippines namely Danao, Cebu;  Koronadal, South Cotabato; Tagum, Davao del Norte; Valencia, Bukidnon and this week in Guimba, Nueva Ecija. About 6o% who attended  the training  are from Tiboli and Manobo minorities who are ministering to their own people  and starting local churches in the remote areas of the said places. They returned to their area with a renewed commitment to do Mission work and bringing with them  the 10 bibles  and materials to initially  teach the word of God in the communities.

CBS opened last August 6, 2019. I will still teach 5 subjects this 1st semester 2019-2020. Please pray that CBS will continually be used by God to teach His disciples to obey all that He has commanded.

We thank the Lord for the GGC-GEA Medical, Dental mission conducted at Batasan, Quezon City. Ptr. Willy Lim, the present pastor is a former student of CBS. Judy delos Reyes, another CBS graduate is the youth Pastor. One of their elders and four young people either studied or are  still studying in CBS. Praise God for this partnership of winning souls for Christ.

Please pray that we may be able to train more workers who would go and make disciple of all nations. Thank you for your partnership with us so that more people will receive God’s salvation through Christ our Lord. All for God’s glory!
