GOIN’ FISHING MINISTRIES (Paul Kitzmiller, Director)  “Time is quickly drawing near for Mike Abbott and me to leave for Ukraine.  We’re scheduled to depart on September 3, 2018 and return two weeks later.  Lord willing, we will visit the same two cities we visited in April.   We plan to join the church at a camp/retreat inn progress.  We will spend more time in Kramatorsk to be able to give more teaching.  Pray for traveling mercies and for hearts receptive to the messages.”

Pine Prairie Church of Christ (Louisiana) is looking for a new minister!  The church is located in Pine Prairie and the contact person is Charles Whittington.  A job description can be obtained by writing him at P.O. PORTLAND CHRISTIAN SCHOOL’S ENROLLMENT for this year is 394 students in K-12 and about 50 in the PCS Little School.  We also have several new teachers and staff.  Portland has three new principals.  In the elementary, Mike Shanks is joining Barbara Jacobs who has been the K-6 principal for years.  She will stay on this year to help ensure a smooth transition. Kirk Brooks, who served as assistant principal for 7th-12 last year, has returned this year as middle school principal.  The new high school principal is Gary Mounce who has served as principal at two other Louisville Christian schools.  (information provided by Dan Wilson –  Director of Development)

PORTLAND CHRISTIAN SCHOOL’S FALL FESTIVAL and WHITE ELEPHANT SALE is Saturday, October 13.  This year we are asking each church to submit a themed basket from their respective church.  We need to receive your donation by October 6.   Please send information to PCS Alumni Association % Donations Committee – James Heid (8509 Westport Rd., Louisville, KY 40242.  Our goal this year is to raise $15,000.00
