KENTUCKY/INDIANA CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP is being planned for the week of July 24-27, 2017.  This will be the 70th anniversary since it’s beginning in 1948.    Keep in mind that the DAY SESSIONS will be held at the Portland Christian School, Westport Road campus,  Louisville, Kentucky.   All NIGHT SESSIONS will be held at the Sellersburg Church of Christ in Sellersburg, Indiana.  The planning committee will be sending out a complete program in the near future.   Ron Flora is serving as chairman this year.

URGENT!  (From Victor Broaddus who went home to be with the Lord in 2002)

“Urgent!   Men & women to proclaim the Salvation message of God’s love to people everywhere.    Must be willing to:

  • Go  wherever the Lord leads – to great cities or remote jungles; to high rise buildings or pest infested slums; to frigid poles or steaming jungles.
  • Learn the language and ways of people different from your own.  Learn to live with people of different cultures and lifestyles.
  • Qualifications:  must be a genuine Christian who is committed to Christ; who loves the Lord and loves his fellow man.  Must have convictions, believing in the truth of God’s Word, the importance of God’s Word for life both present and for eternity.  Must be familiar with God’s Word.
  • Preparation:    Study God’s Word prayerfully.  Learn to share your faith with others.  Learn how to communicate cross-culturally.  Special training may be needed
  • The Pay:  may not be much in comparison with what your friends and neighbors make, but “God is able to make all grace abound unto you; that ye, having always all sufficiency in everything, may abound unto good works.”  (2 Cor. 8:9)
