100 Years Ago  —Word and Work – Vol. XI, No. 1 January 1917 News and Notes– Stanford Chambers writes from New Orleans: “We close the year in good spirits. Twenty-nine additions to the fellowship the past year—19 of them new converts. Sunday school increased from 50 to 109. Had fellowship in both home and foreign missions. We hope to be used more in 1917.”

50 Years Ago —Word and Work – Vol. LXI, No. 1, January 1967 – News and Notes–Dugger, Ind.: We had a wonderful night on Nov. 23 when the children from the Sellersburg Home were with us. They gave a wonderful program. Carl Witten gave a wonderful talk. He is a senior in Portland Christian High School. He was thankful that there was room in the Home several years ago for him. He had come to know the Lord since coming to the Home. If there had been no room in the Home, he might never have known the Lord. A five days meeting was held at the Linton church of Christ Dec. 4 to 9. There was a different speaker each night: Bio. Ringer, Bro. Overman. Bro. Clvmore, Bro. Pound. Bro. Morrow,

25 Years Ago– Word and Work- Vol. LXXXVI, No. 1, January 1992– Randy Coultas to Louisiana–Randy and Jill Coultas have moved from Indiana, where they were active in the Lilly Dale Church of Christ, to Louisiana, where Randy will preach at the Oak Grove Church. He has studied at the School of Biblical Studies in Louisville for several years. Pray for them in their new ministry.
