IN THE NEWS:  Kentucky denies atheist request for ‘I’M GOD’ license plates (By Bruce Schreiner) Associated Press – LOUISVILLE, Ky.  An atheist’s request to say “I’M GOD” on his license plate was denied by the state of Kentucky, which said it might distract other drivers, could spark confrontations and would be in bad taste.   Among the comments was this one:   “THANK GOD that there are a few conservative thinking employees still left in KYGOV.”
