The Compassionate Shepherd
When Jesus saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:36-38

Central Bible Seminary stepped in faith to God again as it begins another year of teaching and training His people. We opened the 1st Semester last July 12, 2016. CBS family sung the theme song, “Savior Like a Shepherd Lead Us” which our beloved founding American missionaries have taught us. True indeed, God has been the good Shepherd of CBS alumni and students until now. He is also the Shepherd whose compassion for the lost led to His death at the cross.
CBS Student’s Ministry Focus
Some of the present CBS students led by Pastor Art Sangalang, a CBS alumnus and presently CBS Board are doing mission work among the minorities at the very heart of Sierra Madre Mountain, Sitio Tubigan, Barangay Kalawakan, Remedios Trinidad, Nueva Ecija.Northern part of the Philippines. One of the CBS student doing mission work there is Jovy Sagao.Let us praise God that a local church is planted in this place. Below are his pictures related to the mission endeavor
Forever Grateful
Thank you for your partnership in praying, teaching, training and sending missionaries to different parts of the Philippines. We may not be able to mention names and churches who supported the ministry but God is not unjust to forget your gift of love to win those who are perishing. This is the heart of Christ our compassionate Shepherd who came to seek and save the lost. Let us thank God for those who responded to His command to go and make disciples of all nations. To Him alone be the glory!
