Fisherville Church of Christ (16001 Taylorsville Rd, Fisherville, KY (Tim Morrow Minister) will be having a meeting with Ron Flora speaking, July 10 – 13. Sunday morning services are at 10 and 11, and meetings each evening will be at 7:00 PM.

WOODLAND BIBLE CAMP:

• WEEK 1  REPORT (Alan Borders). 34 campers attended Senior Week 2016 at Woodland Bible Camp. On Friday evening there were 5 baptisms “Red-neck” style according to Kevin Parr one of the directors, a plastic tarp to seal someone’s pick-up truck bed filled with water.  I think that is a first at WBC.  There was a total of 65 present plus the camp cat, “Woody”, and three dogs.  An enjoyable week of great meals, much fun, singing, and most important, studying God’s Word was had by all.

•  WEEK 2 REPORT (Jerry Carmichael) Junior week at Woodland this year was an exciting time for 31 campers, 20 teen helpers, 21 adults, and one wee camper. Jeff Adams and Jerry Carmichael were the directors. The theme for the week was “THY WORD HAVE I HID IN MY HEART based on Psalm 119:11.  Classes included the word “God” in the first period and the word “heart” second period.  Chapels were based on “My Heart – Christ’s Home”.  The rooms of a house were compared to the rooms of our heart when we live for Jesus.   The big excitement of the week was when an Air-Evac Helicopter flew over the campground and then landed nearby.  Martha and Jerry observed their 48th wedding anniversary there and the kitchen staff fixed delicious meal just for the two of them at their own table for two. 

• INTERMEDIATE WEEK REPORT (Eddie Oberding)  We have great teachers that present the word of God and a love for the truth.  We also have a great group of cooks that love to cook. Gloria Olberding , Fannie Goffinet and Sharle Sutcliffe. It was a privilege to work with such a great group of men David Pound, Will Nethery, Duane Smith and Steve Goffinet. We had 9 cabin leaders, 3 dish-washers and 25 campers. So we had plenty of workers! So our prayer is “send more campers”.
