From Today’s Turning Point Nov. 28-29 with Dr. David Jeremiah

In His hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights of the hills are His also.
Psalm 95:4

In 1991, a Vietnamese man discovered the largest known cave in the world. The Hang Son Doong cavern has its own river, lake, jungle, and climate. Only a few people are allowed to tour it each year; but the pictures are breathtaking.

The globe beneath us is a marvel of God’s creative genius. As  scientists learn more about the interior of our planet, they can’t mask their amazement. In recent years, they’ve speculated that temperatures at the core of the earth are hotter than on the surface of the sun. They’ve also found a vast underground reservoir 400 miles beneath the surface, and it contains enough water to fill the earth’s oceans three times over.
Think of all God packed into our planet—oil deposits, coal, minerals, gold and silver and precious stones. Think of the soil, which provides a perfect medium for plants. Think of the layers of rock that allow us to construct our cities. Think of the fine-tuning below the surface that makes life possible above the surface.
As you thank God for the blessings from above don’t forget to praise Him for the blessings under your feet. Thank Him for the heavens and the earth!
God made all of His creation to give. He made the sun, the moon, the stars, the clouds, the earth, the plants to give. He also designed His supreme creation, man, to give….
