My God and I

by Mike Sanders

MikeSandersThe LORD Grips My Hand

The steps of a man are established by the LORD and He delights in his way. When he falls, he will not be hurled headlong, because the LORD is the One who holds his hand. I have been young and now I am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his descendants begging bread.    Ps. 37:23-25 NASV95

I walk the Walk and . . .
The LORD prepares my path.

I walk the Walk and . . .
The LORD is pleased.

I stumble and . . .
The LORD knows.

I do not fall down because . . .
The LORD grips my hand.

Tomorrow is coming and . . .
The LORD has plans for me.

Now I am old, yet . . .
The LORD grips my hand.

“My God and I go in the field together; we walk and talk as good friends should and do; We clasp our hands, our voices ring with laughter; My God and I walk through the meadow's hue.”
