VENUE: The Portland Christian School auditorium, Westport Road, campus. TIME: 7:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17. Our speaker will be Don McGee, of Crown and Sickle Ministries, a multi-media prophetic ministry.

LADIES INSPIRATION DAY has be set for APRIL 11, 2015. The theme will be: “I Give Up.”   It will be at the Cramer & Hanover Church of Christ in Lexington, Ky, hosted by the Central Kentucky Churches of Christ.   The day starts with registration and a continental breakfast at 9:00 a.m. The topic is “I Give Up!” and all the day’s talks and activities will be centered around our need to lose ourselves in order to claim all that is ours in living the victorious Christian life. Lunch will be provided. There will be singing, both congregational and special, talks and testimonies, along with skits and door prizes. The day is scheduled to end at 3:00 p.m.   Make plans to be a part of this year’s LID.

The 23rd ANNUAL CRUSADE FOR CHRIST at Oakgrove Church of Christ, Independence, Lousiana was held Sunday through Thursday, March 22-26th. The topic for the week: “Don’t Blink, Twinkle is Coming” was another indication of the renewed interest in Bible prophecy. This topic gave each who attended a greater sense of urgency concerning the soon return of the Lord. The variety of messages included “Signs of His coming”, “Days of Noah”, “Godlessness/Apostasy”, “Eye on Israel”, and “All things are Ready”.   Speakers came from Arkansas, Kentucky, Indiana, and Louisiana. All were encouraged by the feasting on the Word of God, the Acapella singing, and the crowd attending, including a good group of young people. Along with the spiritual feast was one of Louisiana cuisine – including of course, both Jambalaya and Catfish. A SPECIAL THANKS to the ladies and some of the men who provided all the evening meals. And a thank you to each of the committee members for making the crusade a reality and blessing to all in attendance.

PROPHECY WEEK-END at Bohon Church of Christ, 2343 Bohon Road, Harrodsburg, KY. April 24,25,26, 2015. Speaker: Tim Moore, evangelist with Lamb & Lion Ministries. He is an Air Force Colonel, graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, an instructor pilot with UPS, a Kentucky State Representative, a deacon and Bible study teacher.
