50 Years Ago — December 1964 — “Word & Work.” Brother Dale Offutt closed an 8·day meeting with Eastview church in Okolona, Ky., on October 4. There were no responses, but we were thankful for good attendance on the part of the members, and good sennons to strength en spiritual life and activity. I had opportunity to meet with the West Side church in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., on Oct. 25. This church, once thriving, has good facilities going to waste, but too few interested and dedicated Christians to make it stand out for the Lord -Claude Neal.

10 years Ago – December 2004 — “Word and Work” — Great Fellowship in Glenmora, L A . (by Bennie Hill) Everyone at tending this year’ s 30th annual meeting enjoyed a time of spiritual renewal. I was able to attend briefly and distribute the Prayer/Praise Booklets from the Mission Office. Dillard & Doris Fontenot of Lecompte put out the red carpet once again for me to enjoy their gracious hospitality. The ladies of various churches outdid themselves again by serving lunch each day. Everyone was challenged with the “Church’s Responsibility in the 21st century” with special emphasis on several “Prophetic Portrayals in Exodus.”
