Woodland Bible Camp: From the Board of Directors (David Pound, President) For 60 years, God has richly blessed Woodland Bible Camp, Inc. The thousands of campers who have attend Woodland over these past six decades have been equipped with God’s Word, the Bible, for a light unto their feet and a lamp unto their walk for their everyday lives. In commemoration of Woodland’s 60th Year, the Board of Directors is pleased to announce Woodland Bible Camp’s 60th Year Celebration Capital Campaign. The goal for the campaign is $60,000.00. The monies raised will be used to fund improvement in the camp’s facilities. KENTUCKIANA BIBLE COLLEGE (April Newsletter) In January 2014, KBC’s Executive Committee (governing body) approved a course of study that leads to a “Bible Teacher Certificate”. The Bible Teacher Certificate will require a student to Successfully complete thirty-two (32) semester hours of study. A student can complete the requirements for this discipline in as little as two semesters (a class load of 16 semester hours of credit would need to be completed each semester). 2014 Graduation Announcement: Graduation for a number of Kentuckiana Bible College students is scheduled at the annual Booster Dinner on July 29. (week of KY/IN Fellowship) All will receive the associate or bachelor degree in Biblical Studies. This class will be the largest number of graduates for KBC. KBC has11students enrolled for the 2014 spring semester; six are credited, and five are auditing. The 2014 KBC/SCC REUNION will be held at the campus park in Winchester on Saturday, August 23rd from 11 am to 2 pm. Those are the hours we have reserved the library. You may come earlier and stay later but will likely not have access to the Library.
Please note the following:
- Please bring 2 (or more) dishes (and yes – because someone is going to ask – full of food) for the pitch in dinner to begin at 11:30 AM.
- Please bring a gallon of tea / lemonade/ or some other kind of drink to set on a drink table to be shared by all.
- Please bring plates/cups/utensils/napkins enough for your group.
- Please make sure you help clean up the area once lunch is over. We have to leave the library building as we found it.
There are tables / chairs inside the library and if we have a large crowd it is possible some may sit outside to eat. We will not have a planned program but we may have some impromptu speakers whose time will be limited. When all have gone through the lunch line, we will be asking the former students to stand and quickly state your name, where you came from to school, and the years you attended.
