DENNIS L. ALLEN, L., 90, of Lanesville, IN, died April 12, 2013. He was born in 1922 near Tell City, IN and graduated from Harding College and Wheaton College. He committed to serve God from childhood, serving as a missionary in the Philippines and Hong Kong over 20 years, and taught at Kentucky Bible College, Hong Kong Christian College, Portland Christian School and two universities in China.
Dennis married Betty (Knecht) in the Philippines in 1956. They have four children, Carol Green (Fred), Linda Allen, Steven Allen and Robert Allen (Joanna); and four grandchildren, Daniel and Karen Green and Tristan and Tessa Allen. He was predeceased by brothers, Argyle and Winston; and parents, J.D. and Pearl Allen.
Among his writings was “A New Creation” a guide for young Christians. This booklet has been an excellent gift to new Christians.
PCS ALUMNI BANQUET was held Saturday night April 27th at Huber’s Farm in Floyd Knobs Indiana. There was a huge gathering of former students who shared in inducting the class of 2013 into the alumni association. “The Distinguished Alumni Award for Christian Service was awarded to Judy Meany and J.T. Henderson. Carol Weber received the Honorary Alumni Recognition award. The class of 1963 was celebrating their 50ieth anniversary since graduation. Eleven of sixteen class members were in attendance and everyone enjoyed reminiscing. However most of our conversations were about aging and health issues. It was a good night and everyone enjoyed the banquet, especially the food before concluding with our school song: “P C H S!” Not only were the 19graduates encouraged to stay active in the alumni association, but all former students who are now apart of such an elite family.

KENTUCKIANA/INDIANA CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP has been scheduled for the week of July 29 – August 1, 2013. Put that on your calendar and start making plans to attend the fellowship. The committee will soon be providing the program of speakers and topics.
CENTRAL BIBLE SEMINARY UPDATE – Ministry of Church of Christ Worldwide Inc. Central Bible Seminary is so grateful for those who prayed and supported the Seminary financially. Truly, prayers and monetary gifts are never wasted and will surely be rewarded by our Heavenly Father. CBS is preparing by faith for another year of sowing the word of God. Students are coming and are willing to learn. The CBS Board, Faculty, and staff are committed to do their part in this endeavor. Please remember us in prayer as CBS still needs to give the 13th month gift and January to March 2013 allowances of faculty members amounting to Php 136,470.00 . As of April 12, 2013 CBS has a fund balance of Php13,781.90 only. Please pray that the Seminary would be able to train and equip at least 100 believers this Academic Year 2013-2014. God willing, CBS will begin another year of teaching God’s people for Christian growth and equipping them for works of service on June 14, 2013.
