Special Prayer Request: Dale Ziebarth (Zee-barth) is the pastor at Oak Grove Church of Christ in Independence, LA, where a Bible conference (“Crusade for Christ”) is held each March. Dale’s wife Karen is very active as a pastor’s wife, nurse, and mother of 3 (ages 17 and under). The children are home-schooled. Two years ago (2009), Karen suddenly became very ill and nearly died. She was eventually diagnosed with an extremely rare form of leukemia which few people survive. For two years she has been very aggressively treated with chemotherapy, which often makes her quite ill and weak. Because of extreme susceptibility to germs, she must stay away from crowds, so must miss church meetings and other activities. She lost her nursing job also.
Karen has one more year of chemo to endure. We are asking that as many prayers as possible be offered up for Karen, remembering, of course, her family and church as well.

32nd LADIES INSPIRATION DAY: was held Saturday March 26, 2011 at the Cramer & Hanover Church of Christ in Lexington, Kentucky. Over 130 ladies were in attendance for this special day among the ladies. They were blessed by sessions on prayer led by Margaret Therkelson. One of the comments mentioned often on the evaluation form was the “friendliness and love shown to all in attendance.” Many also commented on the delicious lunch provided by the ladies of Central Kentucky churches. Plans are underway for the 33rd Annual Ladies Inspiration Day.
19th CHRISTIAN CRUSADE FOR CHRIST was held March 28-31, 2011 at the Oakgrove Church of Christ in Independence, Louisiana. The theme was: “Know the Enemy” and God richly blessed as each speaker was directed into God’s word for an in-depth study. We appreciated so much the warm Christian hospitality shown to us again by the supporting congregations in providing housing and delicious meals beginning Monday night through Thursday. It was good having the Woods/ Wilson/Preston family reunion. A special thanks to Bro. Dale Ziebarth for overseeing the program and keeping things running smoothly during the week. We continue to uphold his wife, Karen in our prayers as she is suffering from cancer.
LECOMPTE CHURCH OF CHRIST …located in Central Louisiana concluded a week-end Revival with Bro. Bennie Hill. The sermon series included a study of “Bible Characters God Used to Build His Church.” The messages were well received and God moved mightily upon the hearts of those who availed themselves to support the effort. As always, being in the home of Dillard & Doris Fontenot was a rich spiritual blessing to me. It was non-stop from the time I got there on Friday until I left early Monday morning. It was encouraging to see many former friends in attendance met through the former Central Louisiana Fellowship that met at Glenmora. Pray for the churches in that area as they reach out in Christian fellowship to one another.
