KY/IN FELLOWSHIP REPORT —  This year’s sixty-third Kentucky-Indiana Christian Fellowship was truly a week of encouraging fellowship. The attendance was good and everyone present was blessed by an outpouring of the grace of God as each speaker admonished us to continue in Christ’s grace. Bro. Robert Garrett was one of our speakers who recently returned from the mission field in Africa. It was good to fellowship with the Crowder sisters – Crystal Hardin and Karen Ashley – who are also in the States for a short while before returning to China and the Solomon Islands.

We are thankful to Bud Ridgeway and the Committee who put together and carried out the Fellowship week. And to the churches and ladies who provided the delicious lunches along with Sis. Brenda Stone who coordinated them this year we give a great big “Thank you.”

The singing was inspirational as always. The singing as well as each session was captured on tape and can be yours for $5.00 (singing) or $3.00 (speaker). The entire week is yours for $53.00. This includes mailing. To obtain copies you may contact:   Donald Stump, 1720 Plum Creek Rd,   Taylorsville, KY 40071  (502) 477-2252  donaldpatty@aol.com

SPECIAL REPORT FROM MISSIONARIES

AUSTRALIA

Tim & Dawn Yates, 5 Coromandel Cove  Cameron Park, NSW 2285  Australia   61-2-4965-8550   ozyates@gmail.com

We have just finished up our very successful high school camp, QUEST 2009. Six young people were baptized at camp, including all three of our daughters! Lauren, Leah & Anna had been talking about being baptized for a while, but it was a big surprise to see them all decide (independently) at camp that they were ready for their decision. We had a big family party, I can assure you! There was also a follow-up baptism the following week in one of the local congregations. Praise the Lord!

We are finalizing our plans to launch the new church work in February, 2010, Lord willing. The local school principal has verbally agreed to allow us to use their brand new auditorium for at least the first year. Meanwhile, the Development Application for the new Community Center has been approved and we anticipate construction will begin by the end of the first quarter, 2010. This will, Lord willing, be our more permanent home as it better suits our needs.

Please Pray/Praise

  1. New young Christians joining the Lord’s Church here in Australia!
  2. Praise for answered prayer on the approval of the Development Application for the new Community Center.
  3. Pray that the new school auditorium will be available as committed, and that it will be complete in time.
  4. Prayer for our co-workers, the Branhams, as they finish up their fund-raising.
  5. Pray for a successful church launch in early 2010!

GREECE

Nick & Chrisolua Tsagarakis  — A. Papanastassiou 38   Iraklio, 71306   Crete, Greece

Rejoice in the Lord always! The name of my church is called  Free Evangelic Church of Heraklio. The building is about 110 square metres and there are 4 deacons and 4 elders. There are also 10 young people in our church. We total about 45 people. We pray together and meditate the Bible every Wednesday. Every Sunday morning we have preaching and the Lord’s supper. Sunday nights we have more preaching. We use the money that is sent us from the Church of Christ Worldwide for buying Bibles, Christian calendars, Christian brochures and journals.

Items for praise:

  1.  We praise the Lord because my mother-in-low Maria is now in the presence of the Lord. The funeral took place in the Evangelic Church and over 100 people heard about the eternal life. We spread New Testaments, too.
  2. We praise the Lord because He permitted my daughter Maria to give birth to a girl.
  3. We praise the Lord because the year of 2009 permitted us to evangelize our citizens, in the island of Crete, and to give out Christian brochures too.

Items for prayer:

  1. We pray Lord boost our hearts for the second coming of the Lord.
  2. We pray Lord bless the mission in my country and many people acknowledge the Lord as their Savior.
  3. We pray Lord undertake all the mission and the brethrens that support us through their prayers and financial support.
  4. We pray the Lord give the best solutions all over the nations because of the financial crisis all over the World.
  5.  Please pray Lord give me health and make up personal natures in this difficult financial period, so through his presence in my heart, saw love to people and serve them.
