Why does Beauty stir the soul?
What’s this craving?… Why this yearning?
Why this pull to have and hold?

Is there something somewhere….Someone
Who’s proposing to the heart?
Is there Truth beyond this wonder?
Grace, perhaps, He would impart?

Do you think He may be waiting?
Just beyond creation’s wall?
Is He peering through the lattice?
