WOODLAND BIBLE CAMP begins its summer season on May 4-6 with a Spring Clean Youth Camp.  This is for grades 8 – First Year of College.  It will be directed b Jeff Adams.

KENTUCKY/INDIANA CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP WEEK is being announced for the week of July 23-26, 2018.  Get these dates on your calendar and look forward to receiving information regarding speakers & topics.   Those who want to help financially with expense can direct correspondence to Ray Naugle at 545 Linnwood Ave., Sellersburg, IN 47172.    Please add this year’s fellowship to your prayer list.

ISRAEL’S 70th BIRTHDAY (5/14/1948) “Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin is to lead a delegation of 250 people from the United States, including some 40 politicians, to the opening of the embassy in Jerusalem this month.  The Palestinians will not allow US President Donald Trump or anyone else to say that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said on Saturday.” (Koinonia House) ALL EYES ARE ON ISRAEL and once again we are encouraged to “PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM.”  (Ps. 122:6)

A FAMINE OF THE WORD OF GOD! (Cramer Bulletin)     The prophet Amos spoke of “a famine on the land, not a famine of bread…but of hearing the words of the Lord.”  (Amos 8:11).   How true in our land. We are an affluent and educated people in all things except the Word of God.    A recent Gallop poll revealed these statistics:

SOUNDS LIKE CONTESTANTS ON JEOPARDY WHEN THEY CHOOSE THE BIBLE CATEGORY!

LET’S PRAY FOR REVIVAL IN OUR COUNTRY – IN OUR CHURCHES IN OUR HOMES WHEN IT COMES TO HEARING & LEARNING THE WORD OF GOD.  LET’S PRAY THAT WE CAN AWAKEN TO A RENEWED STUDY AND APPROPRIATION OF THE WORD OF GOD IN OUR HEARTS AND LIVES. (2 TIMOTHY 3:16,17)  “All Scripture inspired by God is….”  (can you finish the verse?)

  1. God’s Word Will Not Return Void.
    by Jerry Overman

Isaiah 55:11 King James Version (KJV)
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
King James Version (KJV) Public Domain

Orell D. Overman, age 97, after a life of serving Jesus, went to be with Jesus, November 25, 2014. While on earth, he touched many lives, leaving fond memories. I was the last of our family, to camp out, in his home, while I determined the destiny of the remaining contents. Much went into a dumpster, friends were given his books, and I have kept 20 plus years of his sermon and radio program reel to reel tapes, stacked in my kitchen, for about 3.5 years now. My wife and I think that I need to find a new home for them, other than the kitchen or a dumpster. Does anyone have any ideas, how “Bro.Overman” can still spread the Good News about Jesus, through these historic tapes for the present and future generations, until Jesus returns? Contact Jerry Overman at u2jereo@gmail.com or phone 502-759-0963.

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
