Ladies Inspiration Day was held this year on April 14th at the Kentucky Avenue Church of Christ in Louisville, KY. There were 50 ladies in attendance. The title for the day was ‘Waking the Dead” based on the book by John Eldridge. There were three speakers for the day. Laura Wilson spoke on ‘Living in the Pit’. Betty Ann Sanders spoke on ‘Life Restored’. Laura Nelson spoke on ‘Abundant Life’. Each of the messages were inspiring and enlightening. The singing was special and led by Tammy Miller. The weather prediction for the day was rather ominous, but was not nearly as bad as was predicted. If you did not attend, you missed a wonderful day of encouragement in our Christian lives. But the ones who were there were edified, enriched, and encouraged in their walk with God. A delicious lunch was served and there was a lot of ‘catching up’ among friends.
Ladies Inspiration Day had been on a 4 year rotation in the past. It was decided this year to put it on a 3 year rotation with Louisville churches, Central Kentucky churches, and Southern Indiana churches rotating on a 3 year plan. In 2019 it will be held in Central Kentucky.
