PORTLAND CHRISTIAN ALUMNI BANQUET is scheduled for Saturday, APRIL 28TH at the Wildwood Country Club, 5000 Bardstown Rd., Louisville, Kentucky.  6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  This is always a good time to catch up with former students and things going on at present with the school.    Join former classmates for a time of fellowship and fun for a couple of hours.

NATION CALLED TO PRAY for the families of victims killed at Marshall County High School this last week in January, 2018.     Sadness once again struck a small community in Benton, Kentucky when a 15 year old student entered the school pulling a hand gun from his person, opened up killing two 15 year old students beginning their day of school.   Numerous other students were struck sending them to the hospital.  The shooter was apprehended and sent to jail where it is expected he will be tried as an adult.   Leaders in Washington and Kentucky have URGED parents, teachers, and friends of students to PRAY!  Even with the attack on Prayer in Public Schools, I am thankful for leaders who will come to the forefront and CALL US TO PRAYER!    “Blessed is the Nation whose God is the Lord.”  (Psalms 33:12)

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
