CROWN & SICKLE MINISTRIES (Don McGee)  The U.S., the U.N. and Israel.  While most of us were enjoying the Christmas holidays two very important events happened that should be of great interest to all students of Bible prophecy. Between Christmas and the New Year former Secretary of State John Kerry gave a speech at the State Department where he defended the US abstention on the UN Security Council’s vote on Resolution 2334 which condemns Israel’s possession of Jerusalem and her settlements in Judea and Samaria. But it wasn’t Kerry’s speech that was most important; it was the abstention.

And what makes the abstention important is that this was the first time an American administration has gone so far as to essentially say, and with unconcealed malice, that the Jewish people in their State have no right to Jerusalem as their capital city. That is the great point of the resolution, whether the public realizes it or not. Everything else is simply superfluous information. And that includes Kerry’s speech.    (READ MORE at or contact Don McGee at 60498 Floyd Dr., Amite, LA 70422

DaleJorgensonVISIT WITH JORGENSONS.  What a blessed time of fellowship was had by your News and Notes writer and his wife as we visited with Dale and Mary Lee Jorgenson in Missouri last month.   We made the trip to Kirksville to visit with a cousin and decided to stop in on the Jorgensons.  What a delightful time it was as stories were told and more connections were made between our families and background.  What a blessing it is to look back at our roots and heritage and see the many ties that bind us together.   And how much more exciting to look forward to that great heavenly time of reunion!   What a time to be “caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.  And thus shall always be with the Lord. Therefore, comfort one another with these words.” (1 Thessalonians 4:17,18)
