Christ, The Cure

by David Jeremiah

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

2 Corinthians 5:17          Recommended Reading:  2 Corinthians 5:12-21

Casper didn’t grow up in a Christian family. His mother ruled the roost with “a cocktail in one hand and a cigarette in the other,” seldom taking him to church. As a teen, he despised religion. As a young man, he was horrified when his friend George, who could guzzle enormous amounts of alcohol, gave his life to Jesus. Casper (who changed his name to Jack) ridiculed George mercilessly. But nonetheless he accompanied George to an evangelistic meeting one night, and later that evening, Jack met the Great Physician and was healed of his sin.

Jack Wyrtzen went on to become a powerful evangelist and the founder of Word of  Life Fellowship, now operating in more than 60 nations.

God can greatly bless and use us after He heals us of sin and death. Our hearts are never healthy till cured by the redeeming blood of Christ. Our Lord has provided a cure for sin, and He can help you.

The Great Physician can forgive, save, and heal your heart if you’ll trust Him today as your Savior and Lord.

Life is short; death is sure; sin the cause; Christ the cure.   Author unknown

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
