Funeral services for Bro. Glenn Baber will be at 10:00 A.M. in the auditorium at White’s Ferry Road Church of Christ. Bro. Tommy Lindsey, Bro. Steve Savage, Bro. Carroll Weatherford and Bro. Ronnie Thrift will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe.
Bro. Baber was born on August 7, 1928 in Winchester, KY and passed away July 2, 2015 in West Monroe, LA. He was a retired minister and school teacher. Bro. Baber was in the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean Conflict. He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Norma Opal Woods Baber and two sisters.
Bro. Baber is survived by sons, Dr. Stephen Baber and wife Kaye, Ronald Newman, Marty Baber and wife Sherri; daughters, Karen Johnson and husband David and Beth Weatherford and husband Michael; sister, Ms. Evelyn Palmer; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Dr. Reagan Baber, Randall Baber, Joshua Johnson, Benjamin Johnson, Glenn A. Baber, Grant Weatherford, and Andrew Weatherford.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 5, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at White’s Ferry Road Church of Christ.
