Special Prayer Requested: Bro. Hall Crowder has been ill for over a week. He was hospitalized for 9 days and has now moved to a local nursing home for rehab. The injured shoulder has healed a little. But his hip replacement of 15 years is giving him trouble. Also an injury to the other leg has resulted in his being unable to stand on it. His daughter and husband (Cindy & Ken Brady) hope he will regain strength and return home in the not too distand future. Prayer for him is most appreciated. Richard (Dick) Lewis
21ST CRUSADE FOR CHRIST…was held the last week in March at the Oakgrove Church of Christ in Independence, Louisiana. What a spiritual feasting on the Word of God with the theme: “Thru Out the Ages (Spiritual Clock Ticking)! The messages were challenging and informative ranging from the Church Age – Present to the Rapture – Great Tribulation – Millennium to Eternity. Morning lessons dealt with Age of Noah – Abraham and Moses! As always, the ladies of the area provided daily feasting on a variety of food and deserts. Did I mention the community coffee? Always in abundance! Attendance was encouraging again this year, especially having Dale Ziebarth’s wife, Karen, able to attend. Her cancer is in remission and she expresses thanks to all of you who have and continue to pray for her. Thanks to each one who provided Southern hospitality and made everyone feel so welcome.
PORTLAND CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL CHORUS will be taking a trip south during Spring Break and singing in concert Sunday, April 7th at the Amite Church of Christ in Amite, Louisiana. Remember the chorus as they travel and singing many times in various churches.

PORTLAND STROLL ACQUIRES NATIONAL HISTORIC SCHOOL BUILDING Jodell Seay, Executive Director of Portland Christian School, announced today that its historic former campus, at 2500 Montgomery Street, has been acquired by Portland Stroll District, LLC. Portland Christian School operates two campuses at 8509 Westport Road as well as its original campus at 2500 Portland Avenue.
