RESPECT OLDER PEOPLE! 1 Timothy 5:12 “Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, and younger men as sisters, with absolute purity.”
MINISTER TO OLDER PEOPLE! 1 Timothy 5:3-10,16 “Give proper recognition to those widows who are really in need. But if a widow has children or grandchildren, these should learn first of all to put their religion into practice by caring for their own family and so repaying their parents and grandparents, for this is pleasing to God. The widow who is really in need and left all alone puts her hope in God and continues night and day to pray and to ask God for help. But the widow who lives for pleasure is dead even while she lives. Give the people these instructions, too, so that no one may be open to blame. If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

”LEARN FROM OLDER PEOPLE ! Titus 2:1-5 “You must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine. Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance. Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.”

SHOW HOSPITALITY Did you realize that The art of hospitality is being lost in our society!   It is sad to see, as it is a sure sign of the decline of our families.   It seems as if we take all our time thinking of ourselves and our busy lives, never leaving time anymore to minister to others.   Yes, hospitality is a MINISTRY!!!!   Read Rom. 12:12-13 “…distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality…” 1 Peter 4:9 “…be hospitable to one another without grumbling…”
